Europe

In 2016 the UK decided to exit the European Union.

The European market comprise Lloyd’s, London insurance companies and European insurance companies.

The Lloyd’s market will continue to trade with Europe, through Lloyd’s Insurance Company of Belgium which commences trading on 1st January 2019.

London insurance companies are making their own arrangements, where appropriate, to continue trading with Europe via branches or subsidiaries.

European companies are equally, where appropriate, making arrangements to continue to trade with the UK.

IBS has its own broking vehicle in Denmark, O2 Broking ApS.

Whilst European matters are not relevant to Jackson-Ross clients, where the client has a multinational need for insurance/reinsurance, Jackson-Ross can then provide the distribution solution.
