is an Appointed Representative (“AR”) of Independent Broking Solutions Limited (“IBS”) a Financial Conduct Authority approved and Lloyd’s authorized Broker providing a full range of services to the insurance industry.
How we operate
We provide access to underwriters in London (Lloyd’s and the London Company Market), EU and Bermuda under an annual contract for clients worldwide.
We do not produce business for our own account but service the business of clients who are predominantly insurance professionals such as retailers, wholesalers, MGAs, intermediaries, captive managers, risk retention group managers or insurance carriers.
With our Partner, Independent Broking Solutions, we provide full technical support from placement through to financial accounting including the management of clients’ UK registered corporate entities.
We operate on a fee for service basis with a strong emphasis on regulatory and corporate compliance ensuring the well being of clients all of whom operate via a UK corporate entity, which is entirely in their ownership.

GARY JON JACKSON
Gary has spent over 40 years engaged in the full spectrum of the insurance industry with extensive experience in the Reinsurance, Surplus Lines and Primary Agency business. Having held senior positions with a Retail Agent, Surplus Lines Broker and several Reinsurance Companies. He today specializes in creating and placing program and alternative market solutions for opportunities facing the industry. He is active in the identification of entities seeking direct access to Lloyd’s, London Companies, and the Bermuda Market.
NICK READINGS
Nick has spent the last 20 (of almost 40) years in the insurance industry as a consultant to both the insurance and financial sectors, as well as specializing in restructuring insurance entities on acquisition or by closure. His particular expertise is in resolving problem projects and delivering pragmatic solutions.
He qualified as a chartered accountant in a specialist West End accountancy practice and after gathering other experience within the accounting profession, he joined a major Lloyd’s broker to manage their relationships and their business relating to Pool insurance companies. He has held a number of other insurance appointments including the Lloyd’s Market where roles included reserving and the development of in house systems capability, followed by consultancy work including a major part in the Equitas project.
